Great for waiting in the doctor's office....
This toy is a must have for the doctor's office. It is perfect for the long wait as it keeps my 2 1/2 year old busy. He adores the pegs and is able to do the puzzles without much help. We don't play with it everyday but is perfect to take places on an as need basis. My only regret is that I did not have it with my older two kids.

CHOKING HAZARD DO NOT BUY!
This toy includes 7 pieces that do NOT meet the recommended guidelines for toys made for under 3 years of age.

The 7 tall stacker pegs are only 1 inch in diameter at the widest part. The size does not meet the Consumer Products Safety Commission's Small Parts Regulation that requires all toys made for children under 3 years be at least 1.75 inches in diameter.

The toy also does not meet the CPSC labeling regulation that requires a toy of this size to state on the package "not recommended for children under three ... contains small parts".

Good value, entertaining for kids
We bought this product to help our 13 month old son make it through a long plane trip. He really enjoyed this toy a lot, and it was a good value for the money. Note that there are lots of pieces that can get lost, but on the box it says the toy company will replace missing parts for free. I never asked for more parts, so I don't know if this is as easy as it sounds (or maybe they charge enough for shipping that you won't want to ask for many part).

Anyway, a nice travel kit of play toys for a toddler. My very minor complaint is the clear plastic on the box wasn't glued in that well, and our son tore it off pretty quickly. The kit looses a little appeal if the travel box won't hold all the pieces! But I just taped the clear plastic back in with some packing tape, and now it's better than new.

Excellent for travel!
We bought this for an airplane ride with our 18 month old and even now at 2 1/2 we take it with us. It works to entertain him for a chunk of time. He particularly likes the little stacking things. The tote it comes in isn't that great but we didn't care because we repacked everything into his own little backpack (along with books, stickers, crayons, coloring pad, etc.).

Safe, quiet, fun toy!
Finally a toy that doesn't make noise. The pieces are soft and durable. The colors and shapes and punch-out figures keep my son entertained for a long time. I was very surprised. Best part? The pieces can be replaced for free if lost!

Great set for little fingers
This wooden stringing set fascinated my three year old granddaughter. She has so much fun stringing the farm figures and then taking them off. Perfect for little fingers to learn coordination.

Awesome toy for CP therapy
My son has mild cerebral palsy and does not use his left side. We recently casted his right arm to force use of his left. His occupational therapist had this toy, so I bought it. My son loves it. The pieces are small enough for him to grasp, which has really encouraged use of his left hand. He loves to carry the pieces to me one at a time as well as pull them off the string. This toy has been invaluable in his therapy. One note, the paint chips off easily...but he does throw them on the floor.

Fun and educational
Purchased this toy for my 1-1/2 year old grand daughter. She enjoyed the manual dexterity of the stringing activity and the bright colors of the animals. We talked and made animal sounds as we strung them, unstrung them and did it all again and again.

Excellent Special Needs Toy!
I bought this String a Farm for my handicapped daughter, not knowing whether she could string the blocks or not, but to my amazement she figured it out immediately! This toy is very easy for her to handle and manuever and she was so pleased with her success! Highly recommend this sturdy toy.

Broke in less than a month
We purchased this item for my one year olds birthday. From my perspective this was one of the better toys I've seen for this age group. My two year old was playing with it and loving all the different options.

Unfortunately three weeks after we opened the package it stopped working. From what I can tell there wasn't any abuse involved. Now it just repeats the same sentence on any setting.

All around a two star product based on the durability.

Fun for everyone!
My year old grandson loves this! This is my second Leap Frog purchase and I am sold. Will be sure to buy more. Even for kids that know the alphabet already, it's so much fun to spin and hear the sounds they create for the various animals. Who knew what an inchworm sounds like! Fun and eduational, different sounds depending on what you set it on...highly recommend!

Awesome Toy!
My 6 month old son loves this toy because he can make it spin himself. When he was learning to sit up, this toy was a big help because we could sit in right in front of him and he could reach it without toppling over. He also could play with it during tummy time. There are 3 different settings and the songs are catchy, not annoying although they do tend to get stuck in your head. The high/low volume option in a nice feature too. Our baby is so proud of himself every time he makes it work. I love how easily and smooth it spins. It does tend to tip over easily, and I frequently have to sit it back up to the correct position. Some of the animal sounds are a little odd and I wish it had more lights, but overall a great toy.

Fun book, good price
This is a fun book for stay-at-home moms, who have pulled out every trick in their hat (at least 10 times) or just for people who are looking for activities to do with the youngsters. The activities are easy to prepare for and some kept my daughter entertained for a long while. Make sure you stock up on supplies ahead of time though!

For any Stay at Home Cheap Slacker Mom
We started using this when he was 18 months old, and are still using it as he nears four.

The strength of this book is in the simplicity of the activities and the ability to use items you have on hand. We never tire of the grocery bag kite. With little attention spans, you don't want to spend a lot of time on prep. It's not a fancy laid out book. The type is large, and the explanations short.

Then there are activities that require some initial purchases of stuff like clear contact paper. (At the beginning of the book she has two lists, one for common household items, and one for craft items). Just to be different, I spent several weeks making a particular fabric matching game, a minute here, a minute there...in the end, we didn't play it much.

Some weaknesses were the index, based on title of activity, not necessarily the items used. The craft and kitchen chapters were little used, since I had an active boy, and a food-allergic one at that.

Decent set- knife a little dangerous.
This is a pretty good set of pots and pans... the only problem I have with it is that the "knife" that it comes with seems a little dangerous for a kid if she/he is running around with it, so I took it away, but the rest of the set is cute. Also, it does not come with any food (despite what it shows in the picture).

Nice set
I recently purchased a Little Tikes Super Chef Kitchen to have at my house for my grandchildren. This kitchen came with a frying pan and a coffee pot, but no cooking utensils. I purchased this set primarily for the utensils. I find the quality of the pots and pans to be excellent. The lid of the large pot actually locks on so it could even be a pretend pressure cooker. I have also purchased 3 sets of Small World food. They seem to produce a quality product. I have been pleased with everything.

Excellent purchase
I purchased this as a holiday gift for my almost 3 year old daughter. She is just getting into the role playing stage, and loves to help me cook, so I thought this would be ideal. Not only does she love it, but my 8 year old son loves it too. He 'tolerates' her need for a taste tester, but really ends up playing with her, which is a real feat. I would recommend purchasing the food/fruits/veggies as well since this set only comes with the cookware. But this is durable and much loved in our house.

Make sure you realize that the food does not come with this set. Kind of expensive for what you actually get. There are other sets that compare with same quality and contain more, search amazon first.
