A parent's nightmare
These dolls are a parent's nightmare. First the parts are so small that you are not going to be able to keep up with them. The shoes do not stay on. My five year old can not put the dresses on the dolls by herself. I have to put them on for her and I can barely get them on. When children are trying to put the dresses on, the dolls heads pop off. You can not get the heads back on. These dolls are the worst toys my child has ever had and she has had a lot of toys. Save yourself lots of money and frustration and get your child so other dolls.
One of my daughter's favorites, but not that durable.
My daughter is 3 and she LOVES this toy! She never gets tired of playing with it. She has had it for 7 months and plays with them almost everyday. It is her go-to toy. The little dolls would be much better if the heads did not pop off. My daughter used to hold their heads to try to take the dresses off and this is how her Ariel doll broke. She has since learned not to hold the head, but to hold the body. As stated in other reviews, the head does not refasten at all. I had one success trying to use a small pin to hold the piece that locks the head to the body. It worked once, but took me over 30 minutes to get it on, only to have it pop off 5 minutes later. The dresses rip from too much force trying to pull them on or off. The pieces are tiny and easy to lose, but she somehow manages to keep some of the shoes paired. Overall, I don't love the toy but my daughter definitely does.
Girls love the toy, but heads come off!
As many, many other reviews state...my girls loved this toy and played with it for a few days before the heads came off. Very disappointing. Great idea, poorly constructed. Based on the other reviews, I won't be replacing the dolls. We'll find a different toy.
Christmas for my Princess
She loves them, carries them with her in tote bag so she can play with them wherever she goes. There are a few tiny pieces (ie shoes) included that are not recommended for little ones to play with and can easily be lost, mine already has, giggle. These princesses have brought my Princess alot of exercising of her imagination.
Lots of TINY parts!
Though the toy is marked for 3+ it has many very TINY parts. My daughter beheaded Ariel just trying to get a dress off of her, so the small dolls aren't very durable at all. Overall she loves playing with them in her Favorite Moments Dream Castle. As a parent though, I am feeling that I spent way too much money on a very fragile product.

Why pay so much?
I was searching for these, as I once saw them in the Disney Store, but didn't buy them since my little girl was with me. So, I thought Amazon would be easier... but the Disney store online has them for $12.50 regular price. Same thing. They are very nice and can even be used to decorate a birthday cake. So shop around.
Sturdy
My 3 yr old granddaughter loves these princess figurines they go in the bath, pool or the playhouse. Indestructible imaginary fun!
Great for any small doll house or castle
I was looking for some figures for my daughter's small castle. They worked great and she loves them because they are characters that she is familiar with. They are very durable and will stand up to young kids stepping on them and being thrown around.
Fantastic
My daughter got this set (or one like it) for her 1st birthday and liked them immediately. Took Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella to the park and they went down the slides. She used to sleep with them. She's now 4.5 and still plays with them all. They have parties, boat parties, birthday parties, dance parties, picnics, etc. They stand in a line, go to sleep, have dinner, talk to each other, etc. These little figurines have been just great for imaginative play.
Fun toy
Fun princess figurines for a toddler girl to play with especially if she recognizes all the characters from Disney movies.

Customer Reviews

It's huge!
I love Playhut products because they fold up so compactly. Here I had this little package I open up. It just pops open, no assembly needed. I thought it was a mistake. This couldn't possibly the bed topper. My goodness, it must be a tent! It was huge, the size of my children's other large Playhut tents. In fact this could be used as a standalone Playhut tent.

We couldn't do that, my daughter wanted a bed topper, so off we went to put it on her bed. Luckily, we have an Ikea mattress, which is thinner and not as unwieldy as a regular mattress. We have to take the mattress off the bed, put the tent on the bed, slip the mattress into the tent. Voila. The mattress cuts down of height of the tent. If you have a thick mattress, there might not be much room between the canopy and the mattress.

I lay in the bed at night for a few minutes when putting my daughter to sleep. We have to crawl in, but once we're in, it's a huge space. She fits completely inside and she can sit up with room to spare. She and her friend play in there. It's a roomy castle. There are two little windows on each side and a door through the back, I guess the door would be used if we had it as a standalone tent; because it opens up to her headboard.

The only thing on my wish for this tent is that it have an opening on top like some other Playhut tents, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind.
Princess canopy
My Grandaughter loves this and it looks fantastic! It is kind of hard
to put on the bottom sheet of the twin bed with this on, but is well worth it.
Princess Privacy
Great for your independent Princess looking for privacy and a place of her own. Very feminine and pretty.

The front sags WAY down. It's like a visor. It's about 4-6" off the bed. Once inside, there's plenty of room.

Not very breathable. It gets stuffy inside. Wish there was better ventilation or a reach through flap on the side to reach for a sippy cup on the nightstand.

It's also VERY cumbersome to get it onto the bed. You have to hold it in place while you lift the mattress into it and then keep adjusting until it's centered. Gives a whole new meaning to changing the sheets...it's quite a production.
Little girl's secret hide away
Bought it for christmas. My four year old loves it. Plays in it with her toys when it isn't even bed time. She plays rough sometimes and it springs right back into shape. Makes going to bed alot more fun for her, with her own little "castle" on top. I think it was a very good buy.

Fun for fans of the Disney Princesses
If your a fan of the Disney Princesses, I suggest that you get this game. The game includes Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Jasmine from Aladdin, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan.
Louisiana Grammie
My three old granddaughter loves this game. I started her off with only 8 pairs until she got the hang of the game. Then I've kept adding pairs. I think it is very educational in helping them concentrate and keeps them focused.. Would recommend this to any family at any age.
Great classic game!
My 5 year old and I have a blast playing this game. It's a lot less boring for grown ups than Candy Land and other preschool games. My 3.5 year old doesn't get the concept yet, but she doesn't really play board games yet. She tends to mess them up. ;) Anyhow, this is the Princess version of the classic memory game. Game play is simple. Everyone takes turns raising two cards and tries to make a match. When you make a match, go again until you don't make a match. The person with the most matches wins.

This version has 72 cards. You can play less, but we don't. It takes about 20 minutes or so for us to clear the board. Happily, a tie is impossible. The only negatives are (1) set up takes a bit of time - you are supposed to lay out 8 9 card rows and (2) during game play, the cards can easily shift around. But that's just the way Memory is! If you have dogs or toddlers, you may want to play on the table.
fun for children
I bought this to play with 4 children all under 10. It's a lot of fun if you have the patience.

Excellent skill builder using the Princess Gang
I agree with the other reviewer, there are WAY too many cards in this game, 72 cards to be exact! That is crazy for the recommended age, 3 years and up. Instead of putting our game back on the shelf for a few years, I simply let my 4 year old daughter pick out 12 pairs of cards of her choice, and then play with that small amount (which is how I remember the original Memory game being, with about that amount of cards). She enjoys picking her favorite pairs for the game, and has really enjoyed learning to remember the hidden cards. We played four or five rounds yesterday, and she gets better at it each time. This is such an important game to have in your house, it really gets your brain rolling. Lots of fun too!

Spoiler alert: This Disney princess gets a job

When I was a dame, my mom put a lot of effort into keeping me away from Disney princesses. She didn't want me to grow up waiting for a prince to make my dreams turn out true. I don't want that for my daughter, either, but princesses are special to a lot of little girls, Ruth included. She settled into my lap in the concealed theater as the Disney castle glowed on the screen.

It's not a great movie. There's no gasp-princess moment like the Beast and Belle in her yellow deck out waltzing to Angela Lansbury's song in "Beauty and the Beast." There's no flat-out-glorious-spirit scene like the "Under the Sea" scene in "The Little Mermaid."

That's the issue for any Disney lifelike movie, especially one with a princess: You have to compare it to all the others. As a work of art, "The Princess and the Frog" looks like it could have been churned out by the Disney seek 30 years ago.

It's not 30 years ago, though, and "The Princess and the Frog" isn't just any Disney princess film. Tiana, its prima donna, is the first black princess. That was one reason I wanted my daughter to see the movie, and it's one aspect I thought Disney handled really well.

This gala occasion, Disney introduces a new princess to meet their other 8 wildly beloved Disney Princess characters. Before continuing, I must say that I have reservations about the perversion of the proper, beautiful princesses as role models for girls r mean. The conception of an excellent material is based on a very extreme trouser ID Stunner - and a distinction of the playoffs that is mentioned - that bothers me as a source and a psychologist. I'ma fan of something much bigger as Bring PBS with Ruff Ruffman - a TV show featuring the children of a valid order of the races and not only reach legitimate, but are cherished by all honorable motives. The program emphasizes the true response of the wisdom as well as important values such as sponsorship, work hard, and the decision of their own strengths, as well as fun. For younger children, Dora the Explorer, Diego, and Ni Hao Kai Lan also put in order the benefit options.

Aside from my reservations about the ideals of attractiveness, is a hypothetical discordant with the Disney movie, but one last time, one, to count characters in a range of colors and backgrounds. And Disney has shown a very correct and enforceability receptivity in some of the measures that has captivated the creation of this label.
