Dragon!Okay, so I love dragons, and the fact that I play Dungeons and Dragons is a nice plus (my husband is the DM). The iconic Gargantuan Black Dragon isn't a toy, but a large miniature for the D&D game or as a statue to display; I wouldn't recommend it for children under ten unless they're very careful with such things though the statue is surprisingly sturdy, even the wings. The detail is wonderful, from the scales to the sharp teeth and the engraving on the dragon's horns. The square base is a better idea than a circular one, especially if you use encounter maps that are dived into one-inch squares.
It currently sits in one of our four gaming book shelves with the Dungeons & Dragons books along with two anime figures and the companion Gargantuan Blue Dragon where they go very well. We'll also use it in our games if need be, but the size of the figure compared to the smaller miniatures is obvious as the dragon towers over the figures representing your characters in the game and gives players a fairly good idea of what it might be like to encounter such a creature face to face. All in all, an excellent figure and well worth the money paid.
