Received order in record time and very pleased with it. These were exactly what we wanted for on our cupcakes and were a hit with the birthday girl. She's just 3, but knows everyone of the characters! lol.

Disappointed
I received these in a flimsy envelope so small that I couldn't figure out what could possibly be in it. The figures are extremely tiny, MUCH LESS than the two inches description. They are awful and I put them away for fear of losing one. Totally a rip off and not worth the money. Kids could easily choke on them.

Cute toys
These were perfect stocking stuffers...would also be great for Easter eggs. My kids love them and play with them in the bathtub. They are really inexpensive and worth getting if you need something small.

Crappy Patties, Anyone?
We parents, will do almost anything insane when our kids are involved. I bought this Spongebob Krusty Krab set for my 9 year old for Christmas. She was asking for the Spongebob "action" figures. Those were nowhere to be found, except selling on Amazon or Ebay for 2-3 times the original retail price. I bought those, too. The play sets - the Krusty Krab, Spongebob's Bedroom, and the Ship - have one of the "action" figures included, Spongebob. The rest of the play set is composed of cheap hard plastic that will easily break. And it's just a simple prop, not a detailed Krusty Krab restaurant. In the end I regained a bit of my sanity; I gave her the "action" figures, but took this play set back to Target. If you really have to have it for your kid, Target and Walmart sell them for $14.99. I didn't think they were worth that, thus the reason i returned them.

Not a great toy, but great on a cake
We used this on the top of my daughter's birthday cake (4 years old). She doesn't watch the show much, but she still loves SpongeBob and Friends.

She absolutely loved the cake. And she could not wait to play with the toys. We had to wash them up right away and let her at it. She has since played with them several times, so at least it was not just a short time thing.

They were an appropriate weight for the cake - it was a typical yellow cake, and the decorations did not "sink" into the icing or anything. There is a cardboard piece. It did get a little grease stain on it from where it sat in the icing. It is heavy duty cardboard, so I am uncertain if it is to be kept. It does not fit in the pineapple house "holder" so that is slightly disappointing - but it's also hard to use with the other toys. All the other toys fit nicely into the house and she loves carrying it by the handle. She sometimes refers to it as her purse.

All in all, I was very pleased. It's not a toy I would just run out and buy on its own. However, as a cake topper that doubles as a toy, it is a great and I was very pleased.

bought this My son LOVES it
First let me just say that where i live in PA ,Walmart will no longer sale you their cake kits, because i tried last week to buy this exact same kit and they said sorry but they no longer will sale their kits, so i had them make the cake and wow was it AWESOME my son turned 2 and he loves it, He carries it everywhere he goes,
This was the best gift he got.(He didn't even want the other "real" wrapped gifts, just wanted to play with his sponge bob set) I am advising anyone who has a child that loves Sponge-bob square-pants..Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy this kit and bake the cake or order it from walmart,, You will not regret it at all.
it cost me $38.00 to get a quarter of a sheet cake made with this kit on top and it was worth every penny!!!

It served it's purpose
I was happy with the quick delivery as well as the seller's thoughtfulness to send me the instructions on how to make the cake that the set was supposed to go to. This was purchased for the purpose of decorating my son's birthday cake. By the way, I could have gotten this at Walmart through their bakery for about $13.00. But I will not complain.

Spongebob House and characters
My daughter received this on a cake from our local grocery store. She LOVES it!!! She plays with the house and characters constantly. I've always looked for a Spongebob "playset"....and this is the closest thing I've found out there...plus it was Super-cute on a cake!!!

A stuffed SpongeBob SquarePants
This is a TY product.As you would expect from TY quality is great. It's about 6 inches tall, soft and my 15 month old son loves to hold it. It's a nice little stuffed guy and should last a long time.

Sponge Bob best Day Ever
Great product! Perfect size. I purchase the Sponge Bob Ty beanie set separately from Amazon for my toddler daughter who loves Sponge Bob. She loves them. The regular sponge bob arm positioning is almost the same in person so don't buy both like I did unless you really want two of almost the same thing, then have at it.

My 8 year old loves this toy!
My 8 yr. old daughter loves Spongebob was was very excited to get this. :) I wouldn't say there's any "educational" value, per se, but who cares. She's thrilled and it's played with. If your child is a Spongebob fan this toy will be a hit! I think it's cute, well put together and fun.

Just okay.
My son is 6 and loves Spongebob. He also love playing with figures and acting things out. We were so excited to see that they finally came out with Spongebob playsets. However we got this home and found that the product was not very sturdy or durable. The peices kept falling off and there was just nothing fun about it. Theres really nothing that could be done with it. My son hasent even played with it and it has just been thrown into the corner. Not worth the money. If you want to try a Spongebob playset try one of the smaller cheaper sets. They are probably more fun.
