Fun toy
Honestly my son hasn't played with this in a while but when he did, he really liked it. He would get frustrated trying to fit the shapes in the holes, sohe'd remove the cover and jut throw them in! Overall, a nice toy!
Good Toy For the Cost
Let's face it - Our kids have such short attention spans that spending a lot of money on individual toys is borderline criminal. I feel it's much better to buy more inexpensive toys than fewer big ones. These blocks provide my child with colorful play-things that keep her occupied just long enough for her to be ready to move on to the next. You can't go wrong for what you get for under ten bucks. It's a no brainer.
Get a different shape sorter
It's fine for putting shapes in and learning shapes and colors BUT the lid does not stay on. My one year old isn't learning how to sort shapes but instead how to put things in and out of a box as the first thing he does is take the lid off. I wish I had bought a different shape sorter.
A great toy to grow into
At 6 months old, our little one enjoyed taking the lid off and chewing on it. Now, at 9 months old, he's still taking the lid off, but he also enjoys dumping the blocks out and chewing on the blocks. I slowly put the blocks back in, and he gets excited to dump them all out again. The blocks are large enough that he can't fit them in his mouth, yet they're big enough for him to easily pick up. I'm looking forward to seeing him make the connection and putting the blocks into the holes on the lid. It's also very portable with a handle. Even with all of the blocks in, I find there's still a little room for a couple other small toys.
Great Stacker, Bright Colors, Good Sorter
My granddaughter LOVES this toy! She started playing with this toy at 6 months and is now 8 months. From the beginning she was able to grab ahold of each piece with ease, she bangs them together and gets different sounds for different pieces and I tell her what color and/or shape with each piece she picks up. Our favorite part about this toy is we turn the bucket over, I stack the blocks on top of each other and she knocks them over - the look on her face every time is priceless. We carry on with this toy for well over 40 minutes each playtime. She seems to also get a kick out of dumping the bucket as quickly as I've loaded it...good skill builder as she's learning to put them back in now.

Year old grandson loves it!
My year old grandson loves the real TV remote, and of course wants to chew on it. His eyes lit up with this Fisher Price remote. The sounds captivate him and the eyelids open and close with the easy press of a button, which makes him smile and be more curious. Keeps his attention!
Just like daddy's remote
Baby thinks he has daddy's remote! So cute, love that all characters are talking on this remote. It is adorable and sturdy, our son has been banging it on the tile and it still works great.
Not as good as our adult remotes but it will do
My son really loves to chew and look at our adult comcast remotes or anything with buttons so I thought I would buy him this remote. At first he just liked the eyes the flip down on the top. There are no flashing lights that light up when you push buttons so that was a bummer for him. Also I think the buttons are not raised enough. He particularly likes our comcast remote which has tons of buttons and they are rougher texture and pop out quite a bit. These have smooth texture and don't pop out that much.

I like that it voices the numbers 1 by 1 on each matching number button...also the channel button goes up and down in numbers also.

He just manually pulls the eyelids down instead of push the button the right. He tries to chew on the remote at the bottom but it's a little too big for his mouth. He would still rather play with our comcast remotes but this will do for a few minutes of much needed distraction.
Leave the TV remote alone!!
My son loves this remote. I love it because (for a short time) he left my TV remote alone. It has nice sound effects. The only thing it doesn't have is lights. That would be nice. But overall it's great. I like that the volume button actually controls the volume!!
Silly Remote
I really like this toy. It's very cute and makes a lot of sounds as well as teaches numbers. I purchased it for my son who is 9 months old, I think that he is still a little young for it. My hope was that he would chew on it rather than our remotes, it has not been as much of a success for this as I had hoped but still a very cute toy.

Fisher-Price Stride-To-Ride Lion

Fisher Price

List Price: $49.99

Product Details

  • In the waste-on mode baby will have a large seat to sit on and ample room for their hands behind the lion's soft tuft of trifle around his ears
  • Music, Brilliant and Lion sounds encourage and reward baby as they walk or ride around the house or if baby presses the lion's nose
  • In the walker style baby will have a large wheel base and large handle to aid them in their first steps

Customer Reviews

Ouch - slammed kids fingers!
My son never really took to this walker, it's handle area is fairly narrow and not natural to put both of his hands there.

Also, this may be my fault, but it's difficult to transform from the seat to the walker version and when I last did it, my son was holding onto the toy and it slammed his fingers. Maybe my fault, but the latch that holds up the seat is not easy to latch on correctly and if you don't do it just right, the seat will snap down.
Adorable!
I bought this for my 9 mo old and her best friend who's a month older and they like to push this toy around, challenging them to stand up and walk a few steps. The girls LOVE the sounds the lion makes when you push his nose. We're not big enough to use the riding feature yet but hope this will allow them to play with it for a while. Also, this was easy to put together and seems well made.
Fun, but not great as a walker for a tall baby
We received this item as a gift, and as soon as we put it together (when my son was about 10.5 months old), I realized that the lion moved very quickly on our hardwood floors and the foam padded mats we have around the house. Also, he is in the 95th+ percentile for his age, so he was hunched over the handle, which made it slip more. However, it is very cute and he loves pushing the nose to hear the music. Now that he's walking well, he can push it without much fear of slipping. I think as a ride toy, he'll get more use out of it in the months to come. I would recommend it, especially for smaller babies. I would think twice about it for a larger baby, or at least have realistic expectations about how it will be used.
Grand-daughter loves this toy.
Our grand-daughter loves this toy - she's goes everywhere it will take her. She does need help turning it around and it works best on carpet, but she does use it on hard surface floors too.
Overpriced, not a must have
This toy looks attractive and bright, a definite draw for baby, but it's not much more than that. One could as well get a bright stationary toy with music and lights for far less. We found the toy's height very low, even for my 9 month old, and so is the walker handle. My son is in the 75th percentile for height. This wouldnt really help him stand or start walking, since the wheels can't be locked. And when he does start walking, he would be too tall for it. But well we got it on sale and he really likes the bright lion and pats it and plays with it anyway! But it's just not functional the way we thought it would be.

Best Baby Toy!
I received this as a gift for my 4 week old daughter. As an infant, it helped her go to sleep immediately and the soft glow was just enough light that I could peek on her and see if she was still asleep or awake without overhead lights.

My daughter turns 1 year next week. We are STILL using this toy every night, like we have been for the past year. I've replaced the batteries once. Also, the soft (it is so, so soft) body comes off (internal mechanics with batteries, light, and music are completely removable) and it did great through a cycle in our washing machine when she spit-up on it.

Now that my daughter is older, she loves to hug it to her body to switch it on and off. She also enjoys feeling the texture on the fins and chewing on them (they are like little tags on the body). It has really helped her with cause and effect since she now knows how to turn it on and off on her own. I like how when you turn it on right after it was turned off, it will play on the song where you turned it off instead of starting over. After a few minutes of being off, it will reset and start at the beginning of the sound track the next time you turn it on. Sometimes in the morning my husband and I will hear the music begin softly behind her door (it's VERY soft - we strain to hear it behind closed doors) before she is out of bed and we hear her cooing and talking to her "friend" after she turns it on.

The music is so soft and soothing and the light is pretty and not too bright. My daughter takes hers to daycare to sleep with and the teacher said all the other children love it and are always trying to take it and play with it. Also, this is an inexpensive toy that makes a great shower gift. Even my 3 year old likes to borrow this toy sometimes to go to bed.

Love it! Get one for your child or give one as a gift - the recipient will not be disappointed!
LOVE THE GLOW WORM!!!
My son absolutely loves this seahorse glow worm. Ive had it for about 6 months and have had to change the batteries once, but he uses it every night, and for both naps. It so small enough where i can throw it in the suitcase when we travel, and large enough that he can snuggle against it at night. The glow from the belly is the perfect night light to get him to sleep, and the lullaby's that it plays soothe him to sleep as well. Ive already had to wash it once due to a misfortunate event involving a spilled bottle, but it washed in the regular wash just fine with no problems, i simply removed the mechanical part, which removes very easily, and washed the outer cover. I cannot say enough great things about this product! It is wonderful, and my son loves it, which is what really matters!
My baby didn't even bother to look at it
I bought this toy because of the many 5 star reviews, but it didn't work to our baby. My baby was completely uninterested. I introduced it to my baby from his born and till now (8 month) there is no luck at alll. When i received the toy it was smelly and it last for a 3 weeks. Finally, I think this toy deserved to be for toddlers more then infants for its large size.
Very soothing.
This seahorse was given to us at our shower, but we didn't really start using it until my son was 3 months old and started sleeping in his crib. I was a little nervous at first, since you're not supposed to put stuffed animals in an infant's crib, but what some people have complained about is what I was happy about -- it's not really soft and cuddly. My son doesn't really cuddle with it, we just set it in the corner and turn it on and the light and music help soothe him to sleep. He's 15 months old now and we still use it, while he cuddles with another stuffed animal. It's been thrown out of his crib probably every morning for the past few months and it still works just fine, so I'd say it's pretty durable. It also has two sound settings, so if it's too loud you do have the option to turn it down. Overall, I think it's a great soother, and would definitely recommend it.
Seahorse ROCKS
I love this toy! It helps my baby settle down and fall asleep quietly! He loves music!

Great toy
this toy has got so much going on. kids can really grow with it. I've had it since my son was about six months old, he is now two and he has played with it since. It has fun music that plays and everything they touch has something educational to say. It's hard to get bored with it because you can change the setttings and everything does something different. I wouldn't say my kid was mesmerized by it, but it's definately not going anywhere for a long time.
Love it, lots of uses.
My 18mo boy has been playing with this everyday he gets since he was 12mo. The legs on it are easy to take on and off, so its easy to take with you. We use this toy in his room which is carpeted. Now that he is older he likes to flip the table, he is truly an engineer and likes to figure things out. He tries to get on top of it flipped over and rides it like a sled, and likes to try to get the legs out and then put them back in their pre cut holes.

I know the phone is not connected to the table, but I actually like this because now my son can take the phone with him. We take it into the living room, into the car and even to Grandma's.

I agree that the computer lid does not snap down hard just loud. My son loves to open and close the lid and has never acted in any pain by doing so. My son has also found the purple "mode" button and likes to switch from mode to mode quickly. Its annoying but I'm glad he can choose his mode, He usually sticks to the music mode which is fine by me!

I am very happy with the table. My kid loves it and I highly recommend it.
GREAT TOY!!!! RATED ON [...]
I bought this table when my son was 7 months. He could not stand at that time, so i removed legs and gave him the top. It was a hit!!!Even my 3 y old played with it for a week or so. Then when my son learned how to stand up around 8,5 i put legs back and it was perfect place to practice his new skill. Now he is 10,5 month and learning how to walk. We have hardwood floors and he can push this toy and walks with it. He plays with it everyday and never gets boring. It has several modes so you always can switch to something new! When i was shopping for this kind of toy i choose between this one and leapfrog. I always check toys on [...] before buying and found that leapfrog has score high( bad) and fisher-price-low (good). This is very important because all toys end up in his mouth.
My son plays with this EVERY day
We got this as a baby shower gift and my son has played with it for up to an hour every day from the time he was 4 months old and could sit propped up in his boppy or a bumbo chair (we had the legs off and propped it in front of him). He is almost 12 months old now and still plays with it every day. It's his favorite toy and worth its weight in gold! We're about to buy one as a baby shower gift for friends who are expecting. The quality is great and the batteries don't wear out quickly. We most frequently use the "music time" setting because the noises last longer (tunes instead of just one word). We also set it up with just two legs sometimes, so it's angled towards him as he's sitting down.

pinched fingers
My 7-month old absolutely adores this table. Unfortunately, however, her favorite thing to do is slam shut the computer screen, and she has crushed her fingers in the back ("hinge") area of the computer several times (which, unlike the front and sides of the computer, is small enough to painfully pinch tiny fingers when closed). We've ended up taping the monitor shut. She does enjoy playing with the rest of the table too (especially the piano) and hopefully once her hands get a little bigger, we can put the computer part back in use.
