Perfect StrollerThis is a very good stroller, good design, very easy to maneuver, lightweight, and easy to fold. I took one star out because I had to return it. The charcoal raspberry is actually pinkish-fuchsia and too girlish for a boy. And I couldn't buy the black-scarlet stroller from amazon. Having a snug ride 32 car seat and frame for the first six months was great but we wanted to let our baby to explore and sit down while walking with him. He is very happy in this stroller. I don't know yet about durability because it has been just two weeks but it looks solid.
Great for small car owners!
I drive a 2005 Toyota Corolla and I wanted something that would fit in my trunk with room to spare for groceries, etc. This is perfect. I also got a Baby Trend jogging stroller to keep in my garage for everyday walks in the neighborhood, and I like that I don't have to constantly lug one stroller in and out of my car. The Maclaren stays in my trunk at all times.
My daughter is now 10 months old and we've been using the Maclaren since around 5-6 months. I think it says that you can use it from 3+ months, and I bought it before she was born, but I discovered that a stroller frame that fit my carseat was the best way to go for the first few months. I bought a used one, and it really is easier for those early days when your baby falls asleep all the time. That's something I never thought about when I was pregnant.
Now we use the Maclaren several times a week for trips to mall, other stores, the library, the zoo, meeting friends at a park, etc. The basket is a decent size but it is really hard to get a diaper bag in and out. I know people have complained that the stroller tips when there's a diaper bag on the back, but I recently got a Skip Hop Duo diaper bag that has the special straps to go on the back of the stroller. If I slide the bag as far down as it will go, the stroller does not tip when I take my child out, even if the bag is pretty full.
PROS:
Very easy to maneuver
Takes up VERY little space (very important for me!)
Appears to be comfortable
Is easy to set up/take down once you get the hang of it
CONS:
The sunshade is practically worthless.
The basket isn't great, but I just hang my diaper bag on the back so this doesn't matter
I would definitely recommend it!
broke and no support given
worse than the price was that the stroller broke and when I asked them to send a part they told me to send via ups at my expense to a service center that is 8 hours away because they do not have one in my area. Beware quality is not what it use to be and the new covers that they use to go over the hinges that take fingers off broke the clasp that close the stroller after only 1 month
Unfortunately you are not near a service centre, your closest is listed
below, however I can advise that all our service centers do accept
deliveries should you choose to ship your stroller and can recommend UPS
ground service as an inexpensive option. However if you have a copy of
your receipt I can help with the shipping of your stroller, if this is
the case then pleased can you send me a copy of your receipt and include
your full address and telephone number.

I really wanted to love this and brand new these are great but for the price I am a little disappointed. After a few years of use and they do not fold up as nice. the material wears and the parts are rusting. Not completely falling apart but I could have bought 3 chicco's for this price. I am now thinking people buy it for the name not the quality. Maybe if you like nice strollers plan on buying a chicco umberalla every 18 months. Also it is not as easy to fold up as other brands
Great Lightweight Stroller
I love this stroller for my baby girl! I purchased it because my Chicco 3 in 1 stroller takes up WAY too much space in my car trunk. This Maclaren Quest Sport is much more compact and doesn't take up much space. It is also about 13 lbs which makes it easy for me to transport. It is very easy to set up and take down in just seconds. The only thing that I miss, which my bigger Chicco stroller has, is a cup holder. Other than that, it's perfect! Oh, one final note... On this charcoal stroller pictured..... I thought I was getting a neutral color with the charcoal and red (in case we have another child that is a boy). Upon arrival and opening it, I discovered that it is not red, it is a raspberry color and looks girly. It is not a neutral color and would not be a real good stroller for a boy.
Pros: Light, easy to push, folds compact. Cons: Falls back easily, recall issues, weak parts
This is a great stroller because of its light weight and easy to push construction. It's almost half the weight of more traditional strollers, including the first one we got from Babies R Us. It doesn't attach to a car seat, but once our son could sit in a stroller this was ideal and the seat attachment totally unncessary anyways. The stroller folds very compact, which is another plus. I'd recommend this stroller, despite the caveats below.
This model has gone through a recall for joint areas that could hurt a child's fingers. I don't think it's a real issue, and the problem comes with the recall kits they send you. Once installed, the stroller will not close and lock properly. Your child is a hundred times more likely to get his fingers struck by a door than this joint, but of course door manufacturers are legally protected here.
The biggest and most annoying issue is that this stroller easily tips backwards when our child gets off. It's happened literally twenty times so far. When the child is seated it's very stable, but the moment he gets off if there's any weight in the back or incline it'll tip backwards and crash onto the ground.
The stroller also doesn't have cupholders, which is an inconvenience. They sell those separately.
Lastly, some parts of the stroller are weak and may deform over time, such as the hood at the top.
That all said, other strollers have their own problems and the bottom line is this stroller works pretty well once you get over the occasional issues.

not the quality they use to beI have an older Maclaren and the quality of the new model is not worth the price. Clip in the back broke in the first month and only option they gave me was to send back to service center also shade ripped because it gets caught on a uneven screw when it folds down
Lightweight, durable umbrella stroller!
I've had a Triumph for nearly three years and I love this stroller. I travel frequently with just myself and my kids, and nothing folds up as easily and quickly. I also live in an urban area, so I love that I can fold this up and strap it over my shoulder for an unexpected staircase or to get on and off public transportation. I've used it in airports, malls, Disneyland, zoos, cities, everywhere. It also fits in any car I've ever tried to squeeze it into--even on the floor behind the front seats, for when the trunk is all loaded up for a road trip.
It does have a small basket, but that's never bothered me because I know that's a trade-off for having a lightweight, easily compactible stroller. My only complaint (and this may be a factor on all umbrella strollers, but I've only used the Maclaren) is that when it folds up, the front wheels rub on the stroller shade and get it all dusty. Not a big problem, but the inside of my shade is black so it shows and always looks dirty. If I had known that before, I simply would have bought a different color stroller with a lighter shade. So I still give it five stars for quality, portability, and usefulness.
Perfection except small basket and sunshade
This is a great stroller. It handles like perfection, is made of very high quality materials, and it is small and light, enabling us to do things we felt obnoxious doing with our huge stroller, like dining out and riding on public transit. We have run all over the city in this and our 5 month old had so much fun and was very comfortable. We will get lots of use out of this little number for a long time.
We got the purple color, which is a gourgeous rich and pretty eggplant shade. It has the factory installed hinge covers for protection to adress past problems, which are fabric flaps. It also comes with a rain cover. The brakes and collapsing frame are very easy to work with, and it is simple and easy to fold. The recline is rudementary and easy; just a strap on the back. It does not recline back very far but still seems comfortable for baby.
If I could change two things, it would be the basket and sunshade. The basket is almost inaccessible because it sits high under the seat and is obstructed by the bar. Because of this, we have to use a smaller stroller bag and hang it from the back, which we find we prefer actually. I would also like it if the sunshade had twice the fabric that it currently has, or had an extra flap tucked under the main hood. It offers some protection from the sun, but only from very few angles and at almost no time are baby's feet protected. That said, we still like it and would purchase it again because of its quality and great ease of use.
great everyday stroller but not as good as the old models...
I got this stroller because I had a triumph a few years ago that we used so much it eventually wore out... This newer version is still nice and light and reliable BUT the new straps are awful! Other than myself and my husband, none of our caretakers (especially grandparents) can undo the new strap buckle. It's really difficult. We need a second stroller just so other people can get my child out! Not a good change...
Great stroller!
We wanted a second stroller that would be easier to travel with than our heavy baby jogger. The Triumph turned out to be such a great buy, that we never used the jogger again! First of all, it's super lightweight. Second, I love how portable it is-folds in a second and fits easily into any trunk or even on the floor of the back seat. Opening it is even easier. Yes, it would be nice to have it be able to recline more, or for the canopy to be bigger, but those are minute details. Highly recommended!

Kids slouch in this particular Maclaren. We have had a Volo in the distant past, when the entire fabric was meshed. That suffered being left somewhere, and we needed something for a transatlantic trip so we re-purchased. When we got this we first thought that it was defective. The fabric was too slack and the result was that the child was totally slouched, back making a nice 'C' shape. We went instead with the one model above it that has the reclining seat as that seat has stays to keep it flat. Was worth the extra couple of dollars and pounds of weight.
Perfect For An Older Child
We bought this for our 4 yr old. We needed something light and easy to handle for Disney vacations and day trips. He does not need a stroller much anymore. We needed something that can hold a higher weight. At 4 1/2 he is 46 pounds and tall. This folds and unfolds with one hand. Then easily slip the carry strap onto the shoulder. Perfect for easily getting on/off the Disney buses. It is very lightweight. I would not buy this for a smaller child needing more from a stroller. But for an older child needing only some sit down time at Disney it is perfect. Plus it was cheaper then renting a stroller at Disney.
Pros:
-very light
-easy to fold/unfold
-easy to handle
-can carry a child up to 55 pounds, one of the only ones I found
-has a carry strap
Cons:
-back does not adjust which is not necessarily a con in itself but my very tall son is put into an odd sort of half recline position and the top of the seat hits him at the base of the neck. His head flops backwards. He has to hold his head up or sit forward. The sun cover velcros to the seat which then holds the seat up more and gives his head somewhere to rest. We cannot use this without the sun cover.
-no cup holder so I bought one to put on this
SO-SO STROLLER
My friend had recommended this stroller and she researches everything to death so I expected more from it. I was torn between a Britax blink and the Volo and went with the Volo since it was cheaper and lighter. What I do like is that it's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and folds up fairly simple. What I don't like is that the stupid canopy just pops off when I'm trying to open or close the stroller. Also there are no cup holders. I'm also disappointed it doesn't recline but obviously I knew that when I bought it. I just didn't realize how much my almost 3 yr old would still long to lie down when strolling in it. This stroller is ok and we'll probably take it to Disneyland for our 6 yr old but will have to get another one that reclines for our younger daughter. Guess buying this depends on what you really need and want in a stroller.
Great stroller!
We just got this stroller off Craigslist and it was barely used. We just tried it out tonight and I LOVE it!! This will make our upcoming air travel so easy. I love that it's truly a one-hand fold and it's so easy to push, my 2 year old was pushing it around! Now to write a review about the accessory pack...
Great for kids 3 - 5years old
Bought this for my 3 and 5 year old kids when we go on trips. We have the Graco stroller, it was good for when they were babies but Graco is too bulky/heavy. This is one of the lightest strollers you can get. Its sturdy enough to comfortably push a 40lb kid. (Weight limit is 55lb for this stroller). Its exactly what I wanted...a very sturdy, light umbrella stroller that can carry a big kid. Its more expensive than the $20 -30 umbrella strollers but its really light weight (about 8lb) and more importantly the weight limit of 55lb. Most umbrella strollers are made for kids less than 30lb....so keep that in mind. Great for getting on the airplane or on the subway or bus because it easily folds up quickly and has a strap to carry it like a back-pack. MOST strollers DO NOT have a strap to carry it on your back.....this is VERY USEFUL if you are traveling alone with kids with other bags to carry. SUMMARY: BEST FEATURES this stroller has that is lacking in other strollers: LIGHT WEIGHT (at about 8lb its lighter than the other strollers that claim to be light weight), STRAP to carry it on your back, weight limit 55lb, VERY STURDY...so its easy to push.

Customer Reviews
Good protection, but a little too bulkyThe bag definitely protect our expensive Maclaren well at the time we hand it over at the gate. However, if you're using the stroller at the airport, now you have to carry this heavy and bulky bag. It has wheels so we put our bags in it and strolled it along, but I wish it was easier to close and more compact to where you could just fit it in the stroller basket. It is also very large, meaning, it was not a tight fit, which again makes it very bulky. But it served its purpose as far as protecting the stroller from rough handling as the material is very thick and durable.
BAD BAG, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
I bought this bag some months ago and first time of use it ripped near the wheels. I contacted Maclaren customer service and all they could say is that their product never had any complaint, and that it was probably mishandled by the airline I traveled with. However, the problem occurred on my way to the airport, before being handled by the airline, and I had to make a quick tape repair before shipping. Now I'm stuck with an expensive and ripped bag, and no intentions of the manufacturer to investigate this further.
Great bag
I was a little hesitant buying this bag because of its price. But now that I have it, I don't regret it at all. I used it for an overseas trip from Japan to the US and my stroller came in perfect shape. I have the Maclaren quest sport stroller and it leaves plenty of extra room to put other things in. I thought maybe the extra room would possibly damage the stroller but not at all. Kept it very secure and protected. The wheels make it easy to stroll around the airport. The bag is sturdy and seems well built. I am very happy with this purchase.
nice
its nice to be able to protect your stroller, although now that our baby is almost 10 months, we need the stroller all the time when we are at the airport, so the bag is useless. Besides in Colombian airlines they receibe your stroller in the airplenaes door just before aborading and give them back as soon as you landa and get out of the plane, wich is very confortable because that way yoy dont have to carry yout baby around until the stroller comes out on the luggage belt.
Great, but careful checking on planes
This bag is amazing. It easily fits our stroller with no problems and some extra things we may want gate checked. The big issue we ran into was EVERY time we gate checked, because it was not one of those bright red bags, it ended up being sent to the normal baggage claim. It was a challenge, as we did not want to leave the gate until we knew for sure it was at baggage claim and we would have liked to use it to roll our son out of the airport. We ended up splitting up, and luckily, it was not lost, simply, was not at the gate check when we got off the plane.
The bag itself is great.

Meh.Like others have said, this organizer is great because it is flexible. This means it can be left attached when folding up the stroller, and doesn't get in the way when carrying or storing a closed stroller. However it is very poorly designed. The cup holders are so floppy, most drinks (and sippy cups) flip over in them. The cupholders are also very narrow so only small drinks (maybe a can of soda) would work - we have had no luck with grande-sized cold drinks or bottled drinks. The middle compartment is so small, I hardly feel comfortable placing my cell phone in there. The large mesh pocket is a great size, but the velcro closure on top is so darn sticky, it's impossible to open with one hand. I am glad I have this organizer since my Maclaren Volo is bare bones, but I often find I mainly use it to hang things off of (hang a sippy off the edge of the top, throw a sweatshirt over it), rather than items inside it.

Not good at all
Pain in the Neck
I received this from my mother-in-law (she bought every conceivable accessory for our stroller). At first I liked this because it gave me more storage and cup holders. The only function that I actually used was the cup holders, which don't work as well as a hard cup holder would. While I used this bag, it caused more frustration than anything. It was always getting in the way and I was having to fold it up so that I could see what I was doing when folding it. The final straw came 6 months after using it. We had been having issues getting the stroller unfolded and I was considering sending the whole stroller back. As a last attempt, I took the bag off, and miracle of miracles! The stroller folds up fine! In my opinion, don't waste your money, just buy a standard cup holder!
Doesn't hold drinks
I'm not sure what I was thinking getting this. I wanted something that would hold my drinks (like my son's old sturdy stroller) and provide more storage. It does not hold drinks, they all fall over if you put anything in the drink holder. And the pocket is nice for keys and other things, but if my son is not in the stroller it is back heavy and falls over. I wish I kept the box so I could return it.
Good product
It works and fits perfectly on the Maclaren Quest, and I would imagine on any Maclaren.

Maclaren Europe strollers to get hinge safety kits
Farzad Rastegar, chief directorate officer of Norwalk-based Maclaren USA Inc. met Thursday in Brussels with European Union Consumer Commissioner Meglena Kuneva to chat about the safety of the company's baby carriages.
Maclaren Europe Ltd., the U.K. baby-carriage maker and parent of McLaren USA, announced in a correspondence literature to Kuneva that it will provide hinge cover safety kits free of charge for strollers throughout its sales field to reduce the risk of fingertip amputation or injury.
The company, founded in 1965 and based in Northampton, England, said it will approve hinge covers a "standard accessory" on all new strollers starting next year, according to the statement from the European Joint Consumer Commission.
In the statement, Kuneva noted the design change for 2010 and "welcomed the decision by Maclaren to stock up all European consumers with hinge cover safety kits for pushchair buggies, on request."
