Customer Reviews

Pefect for my needs
This stroller is wonderful! It has great manueverability and is so easy to use. It is extremely lightweight and very compact! My only complaint is that the basket is really hard to use if you're using your graco infant carseat.
Lightweight but hard to clean
Pros: lightweight, easy to collapse, folds up fairly small, and has a small basket below (which most umbrella strollers do not).

Cons: impossible to keep clean (we take good care of our things but it always looks like it's a third-time hand me down), can't take the fabric part off to put it in the washing machine, doesn't truly allow your child to sit upright or to recline all the way back--its seat back keeps your child in a slouching position.

It's served us well, but I can't say I'd get it again.
Great stroller for the size and easy maneuvering!
The first thing that caught my eye about this stroller was it's size and attractive build. It's very modern and different from the clunky huge strollers that Graco also makes for the travel system. I think the size is perfect, a little larger than a basic umbrella stroller (with no hard seats...?) but my two complaints like the other reviews are that it's not THAT light weight, and the canopy is really small... to the point that if it was sunny or raining, it would not protect her from anything. Maybe it's just me, but I thought that since this was a light weight stroller it was going to be very light, but I guess considering the durable materials used, we're pretty lucky that it's under 20 lbs. I'm 105 lbs and didn't have trouble lifting this stroller anywhere yet. I like the bar in the front because she can hold onto it when we're moving around. Also, in the store I couldn't figure out how to unfold the stroller and had a lot of problems and was on the verge of not getting it. Once we came home, I read the instructions and all these complaints about how hard it is to unfold are completely false... unless they didn't get this stroller. All you have to do is pull this latch on the one side of the stroller while it's folded to "unlock" it, and then you kick down on the step to completely unfold it just like any umbrella stroller. Very easy. To fold it, you just turn this lever and it folds itself. Another thing that made me get this stroller was how smooth it glided on the ground and the comfortable handles. My husband is very tall, and can't push an umbrella stroller without breaking his back, but this is the perfect height for taller parents. It maneuvers very easily, turns with no problems, and the cup holder is also great! I haven't tried it with the car seat in, but I love this product and I'm very happy with it. Enjoy this stroller because you won't regret it.
Such a great compromise!
Back in 2003 when we were expecting our first child, we bought the Graco Quattro Tour travel system. We loved that the stroller folded down onto its wheels, so that the rest of the stroller stayed off the ground. We had no intention of replacing it, even though the infant seat that came with it expired after our third child used it (in Dec. 2008). SO, we had our fourth child in February 2010 and intended to continue use of the Quattro Tour, until my husband opened the back of our minivan and the stroller fell out and a wheel busted off. :-( A plastic piece broke entirely, so there was no fixing it. We didn't really want to spend the money on a new Quattro Tour system and didn't really like any of the current patterns, so we started to shop around and when my husband found the Graco Mosaic, he wouldn't let me look at anything else!! He was so impressed with the way it folded down and IN. A perfect compromise between a bulky (but wonderful) travel system and a flimsy, short umbrella stroller. It still folded down onto its wheels, which we had always appreciated about the Quattro Tour. I did have to give up some storage space in the basket underneath, and I do miss the parent tray, but the compact size and the folding technique make up for those losses!! Overall, this is a superb stroller with some very thoughtful features that has been a joy to use!
Takes two people to unfold it
Yes, it's lightweight and folds down in to a small size, but it takes two people to unfold it. The locking mechanism is so poorly designed. Pretty useless if you can't take it with you unless you have another person along just to help you unfold. LAME

Morgan's delight
I bought this set for my granddaughter. She is delighted with the set. It is well thought out. The carrier converts easily into the highchair easily. A small child will need help converting the carrier into the swing. The set was smaller than I thought it would be and therefore good for a younger child with a smaller doll. The Wild Planet water baby doll is a good size for this set.
Doll Stroller
My Grand daughter was very happy with this toy she is 6 years old. Her mom is going to have a baby soon so she is excited to walk her doll when her mom walks her baby sister. Not real sturdy so if a kid sits in it that will be the end of the toy.
Fun but costs way too much
I bought this for my 19-month old. She really enjoys it but I think it is way over-priced. It's nice that you can covert the pieces but for the most part, she only really uses the stroller and swing. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for this.

Worse than no thermometer at all
Terrible. Registers absurdly low no matter what. I am going to see if I can get my money back on this. What a waste!
Junk
Never had consistent readings and there was a sharp blemish in the plastic. I need to contact the manufacturer.
dont buy
This thermometer registard a temp of 96.5 on my child when they were burning up, I used my other thermometer under the arm that takes several minutes and my child had a temp of 103.6. I have tried this several times and still this one reads much lower. I have read, read and read the instructions and follow to a T and still the same results. Spend more money and get a more reliable one.

Works Well
Purchased this stroller to go with our Graco Snugride 35 infant carseat. Was told this was made to specifically fit this model carseat, but we find it kinda hard to snap in - seems as if the carseat is just a tad too big - it does fit, just takes some coordination. Other than that works great - nice and lightweight - perfect for the mall.
Excellent stroller alternative for infants
A little background: I am 5'11" and my husband is 6'3" -- so when researching infant car seats before my son was born, I focused on seats that would work for a larger baby. (and now he's 6 months and 20 pounds) I also read Baby Bargains cover to cover for recommendations on all kinds of gear. I like their style, and am a no-fuss kind of girl. We settled on the Graco Snugride 32 and this frame as our infant stroller combo.
After 6 months of use, the stroller has been great. They've designed the system to be pretty fool-proof. Everything that is red does something for you -- locks, unlocks, snaps, clicks, etc. It folds up easily and I like the latch they've designed. (The latch/locking mechanism is something that I've only really started to appreciate as we've begun to research other stroller options.)

PROS: compact, lightweight, easy to fold, latches well, wheels lock easily, the handle height adjusts for taller parents, the basket is huge and easily accessible.

CONS: sometimes it's a little hard to steer and I've bumped into curbs and walls while not paying attention. This is a minor complaint.

In hindsight it may have been a better idea t get a different stroller -- one that the infant seat could snap into, but would also allow him to grow with. We've looked at the Metrolite but I think the latch would drive me crazy; in the store it never seemed to catch correctly. We ended up buying a second-hand Peg Perego Aria MT this weekend and it looks like it's going to be great. We also just bought a new convertible car seat too, because although this one will still work for awhile, he's way too heavy to be carting around between cars.

A great lightweight stroller option!
I am VERY pleased with the stroller frame! It says "assembly required" which basically meant snapping on the wheels and cupholders. VERY EASY! It is perfectly compatible with my Graco Safeseat Car Seat, which I purchased in 2006. I LOVE the stroller that came with my carseat, but it's quite heavy and bulky, this one folds easily and is very light -- will be a great option for my little one when she arrives in 2 weeks!
Lightweight, convenient, could improve the design
Love how lightweight this stroller is but considering it's really only half a stroller with the carseat making up the other half it really doesn't fold up that small. The cupholders totally suck. They are way too shallow and small. A large bottle of water won't fit at all and anything above a small starbucks cup will fall out at the slightest jostle. The basket is nice and big. Handling could use definite improvement even with the front wheels unlocked. I also have a three wheeled stroller (baby jogger, city mini) and that thing turns on a dime. Would love to see a three wheeled version of this. Also, agree with the other reviewer who said brakes get stepped on easily, woke my baby quite a few times with that one. I have't experienced any of the tipping issues or problems with popping out that others have said. I do think both folding up and unfolding could be greatly improved, can't really do either one handed and if the wheels aren't in the right position when you fold it up it won't lock closed and will open right back up on you when you go to throw it in the trunk. But if your getting the graco carseat this is a he'll of a lot better than the travel system. That stupid behemoth is a complete waste of money.
YOU NEED TO BUY THIS
This is AWESOME... If you're like me, you went and bought a travel system.. and regretted it! The Graco system I bought is so bulky and heavy!! It drove me crazy.. Until I got this!! I love it. I used it for about 9 months, just click the carseat in, and you're good to go! We took it with us on vacation to Florida too, it was perfect. Only negative is that you can't use it without the carseat. I wish there were a way to!

Maclaren stroller recall: What to do if you have one

If you own a Maclaren agency stroller, stop using it immediately. That’s the advice of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) after it announced a unconstrained recall Monday of an estimated 1 million strollers made by Maclaren, a British company.

The reason: When parents unfold the strollers, children have been reported putting their fingers in a side hinge, causing 12 fingertip amputations, according to the CPSC. Parents can reach Maclaren in the US to get a free hinge cover, which is easy to install and deals with the hinge issue effectively, says CPSC spokeswoman Patty Davis.

Monday’s fight marks the second-largest recall of strollers since 2000, according to a review of CPSC data. Only the 2005 recollect of almost 1.15 million strollers by Graco Children’s Products was larger.

Here are details on the current recall and how to get a replacement:

What: All nine models of Maclaren’s paired and single umbrella strollers, including Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, Techno XLR, Duplicate Triumph, Twin Techno, and Easy Traveller purchased between 1999 and November 2009.
